Red-dried onion prices in Egypt's local market increased to USD 395.24 per ton (EGP 20,000 per ton) in Mar-25 after dropping to USD 296.43 per ton (EGP 15,000 per ton) in Feb-25. The price surge is driven by rising demand before Ramadan, as consumers stock up in preparation for the holy month.
