To stabilize prices for flour, bread and bakery products in Russia, the government has imposed restrictions on the export of wheat, rye, barley and corn.
From February 15 to June 30, 2021, only 17.5 MMT of these crops can be exported from the country.
It could be exported more, but then the additional volume will be subject to a duty of 50% of the customs value of the exported products (but not less than 100 euros per ton).
At the same time, a duty will be set within the wheat quota: exporters will be required to pay 25 euros per ton of goods exported outside the Customs Union. The duty will also be valid from February 15 to June 30, 2021.
