Delays in Chicken production due to rising freight costs in Thailand

One of the chicken manufacturers in Thailand stated that freight costs are expected to keep rising in 2022, which will result in the delayed shipment affecting the line production of the products. The manufacturers need to re-adjust and postpone the export plan for about 4-8 weeks.

-TH-EU route: increase by 700%
-TH-JP route: increase by 66%

The manufacturer also stated that cargo such as Wan Hai, ISL and SeaLand has informed in the contract that it is not their responsible for the delay due to the shortage of containers.
