Redfish (Sebastes mentella) fishing in Norway is increasing, leading to higher stock levels at Norwegian ports. This trend suggests that prices may decrease in the coming weeks. In W10, prices for all sizes of Redfish range between USD 2.90 per kilogram and 2.95/kg (EUR 2.65/kg and EUR 2.70/kg), shipped to Portugal or Spain, two major consumers of this fish. Similarly, in South Korea, another significant market for Norwegian redfish, smaller sizes (100/200 or 200/300) are more common and preferred for consumption.
