The Association of Confectionery Industry Enterprises in Russia predicts sweets' export growth by 50% within four years.

This year, sales of sweets from Russia abroad will remain at the level of last year: during the reporting period, confectioners worth about $ 1.4 billion were supplied to the markets of other countries. In 2019, 55% of exports were chocolate and chocolate products, 32% - flour, 13% - sugar products.

Overseas confectionery supplies are expected to increase by about 7.1% next year. At the same time, experts say that in the future, shipments will begin to grow even more actively. In 2022, Russian sweets will be supplied in the amount of $ 1.95 billion, in 2023 exporters will earn $ 2.05 billion, in 2024 - $ 2.2 billion.

Russian confectionery products mostly imported by the CIS countries, China, the Middle East and the EU. In addition, India, Japan and South Korea are perspective areas.
