Chilean Salmon Salar Production Slumps, Prices Expected to Remain High

In 2024, Chilean Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) production has been significantly lower than usual, with reduced volume and smaller sizes. Additionally, suppliers have indicated that there will likely be no increase in supply until mid-Jul-24 or early Aug-24. As a result, prices are expected to remain high until production levels improve.
