Sarawak, a state of Malaysia, will start exporting tilapia to nearby countries such as Singapore and Brunei. This is to increase the export varieties of agriculture from this state. Sarawak which is known for the country's main crops such as palm oil, cocoa, and pepper, now also wants to participate in aquaculture exports. Malaysian Tilapia is expected to get high demand from SEA regions by 2021.
