Chicken meat export from Brazil is estimated to decrease by 3% YoY from its previous auspicious 3.7M tonnes in 2020, as a consequence of Saudia Arabia’s ban on imports that went out in effect by May 2021. The country had curbed supplies from 11 slaughterhouses. Saudi Arabia intends to aggressively develop its domestic production while dropping the imports from Brazil.
