The Ministry of Commerce slows down its exports by adding products such as potatoes, onions, and legumes to the list of "products subject to registration" from time to time during troubled times in the domestic market. While periodic export regulations in food is a risk itself for exports with the announcement of the authority on the side of the ministry of agriculture and forestry (Export Communiqué No. 2022/1 published in the Official Gazette), this practice which will be carried out by the Ministry of Commerce will create an extra risk for exports to stop and slow down from time to time.
