The norm on the safety of feed for farm animals is contained in the law on biosafety, which was adopted in Russia.
This is due to the fact that livestock feed directly affects the quality of the manufactured products. Thus, it was decided that the supply of genetically modified feed for cattle and other livestock to Russian territory would be prohibited.
Considering that GMO feeds are cheaper, the meat of animals raised on them will also have a lower cost. However, it can be hazardous to human health.
