Taiwan mango season starts in late May and lasts till early to mid-August. Taiwan also enters the rainy season around early to mid-June, and is expecting typhoon in July and August. During the harvest season, mangoes are not recommended to be picked when its raining so farmers shall wait till the mangoes are dry to ensure the best taste. If mangoes are picked while it's wet, the mango would lose its sweetness. The supply of mango would be short during the rainy days.
