Taiwan's locally grown garlic with the harvest season in March and April, the stock would usually last for about six months. However, Taiwan's annual garlic demand is around 64,000 tons, with around 33% relying on imported garlic. The major import origins for Taiwan's garlic are from Argentina, Egypt, and Spain, wherein the three origins have different seasonality which would be able to support Taiwan's import demand all year round.
