Tea prices in Kenya rose marginally at the weekly Mombasa auction in W38 to USD 2.25/kg from the previous price of USD 2.24/kg. This positive change comes after tea prices at the Mombasa auction have been dwindling over the past 7 months due to the continuous disruptions in the global market. Kenyan tea exports have decreased primarily due to the low import volume by Russia, which is a key buyer of Kenyan Tea.
