In WK 2, Spanish farmers in the region of Granada’s Tropical Coast, which is usually sunny, have been facing the lower temperatures at night and in the morning. And these low temperatures postponed the maturity process of the fruits. As a result, the harvest for custard apples is slower than usual, and there is little availability for standard sizes.

New clients or retailers who are "out of programs" may find supply difficult and face higher prices as the week goes by. However, domestic demand is still high in Spain as 80% of the production, amounting to 50MT annually, is sold in the domestic market.
