Thailand’s Coconut Market Faces Price Decline Amid Economic Crisis and Diminishing Demand for Coconut Products

The economic crisis in Thailand has caused the local price of coconuts to decrease as the market slows down. Also, the price drop is due to reduced demand for coconut milk and coconut sugar products. In W27, the price of coconuts dropped from USD 0.73 per coconut (THB 25 per coconut) to USD 0.20 per coconut (THB 7 per coconut). Similarly, organic coconuts experienced a price reduction from USD 0.96 per coconut (THB 33 per coconut) to USD 0.35 per coconut (THB 12 per coconut).
