The 2022 cashew season opens on 4 February in Côte d'Ivoire with a price left at EUR 0.46 EXW per kg

In Côte d'Ivoire, it is announced in the Council of Ministers that the 2022 raw cashew nut marketing campaign will open on 4 February. The mandatory minimum purchase price to producers for well-dried and well-sorted cashew nuts containing no foreign matter is set at EUR 0.46 per kg, a price unchanged compared to the 2021 campaign. The price has been lowered by 33% compared to the EUR 0.61 EXW paid in 2020. The government forecasts production of 1,040,000 MT of raw cashew nuts in 2022, almost a quarter of the world's production volume
