The beetroot's price has doubled in Russia

Against the backdrop of a sharp decline in last year's stocks of local farmers and an insufficient supply of imported products, prices for beets in Russia increased significantly. At the end of last week, prices for last year's beets in Russia varied within 30-40 RUB/kg (0.41-0.54 USD/kg). Now substandard products are offered from 50 RUB/kg (0.68 USD/kg), and prices for high-quality products reach 80 RUB/kg (1.09 USD/kg).
