Brazilian government's trip to the Amazon with foreign diplomats has already yielded the first millions-euro economic conservation agreement

Shortly after the trip to the Amazon, in which the Brazilian government showed diplomats from different countries the importance of land tenure regularization, Brazil signed an agreement with the German state bank Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), in the amount of 25.5 million Euros. This will be donated to the project “Innovation in Agricultural Productive Chains for Forest Conservation in the Legal Amazon”. The objective of the agreement is to expand sustainable productive practices in the meat, soy and wood chains in the Brazilian states of the Legal Amazon.
