The export price of rice in Vietnam is predicted to decline in the next few months. The major reason is that after a month of continuously purchasing rice for reservation, the Philipines has stopped buying a substantial amount of rice from Vietnam. Additionally, as it approaches the autumn-winter season, the amount of inventory in Vietnam is also expected to increase. For example, the price of 5% broken rice has fallen from USD 485-490 PMT to about USD 470-475 PMT.
