The import volume of white broiler chickens in Taiwan has dramatically reduced due to the outbreak of bird flu in North America

Nearly 30% of Taiwan's imported white broiler chickens come from the United States. However, the recent outbreak of bird flu in the United States and Canada, coupled with shipping restrictions, has dramatically reduced the import volume of chicks and eggs. Food processing manufacturers say that they can only rely on inventory to support. The Council of Agriculture invited experts and industry players to discuss on the 6 April, and it is expected to import chicken in a project mode.
