Peruvian Grapes Entered the Vietnamese Market in W1 Addressing the High Demand and Shortage

Towards the end of 2023, the Vietnamese market faced a shortage of green grapes, with limited stocks available from the United States (US). Despite minimal quantities, the demand for green grapes in Vietnam remained high compared to other grape varieties.

The initial batches of Peruvian green grapes reached Vietnamese ports in W1. The price of Peruvian green grapes at the Ho Chi Minh wholesale market is approximately USD 40 per 7.3 kilograms (kg), and the quality of Peruvian green grapes this season is good. It is anticipated that more shipments of Peruvian grapes will become available from the W2 onwards.
