The price of wheat continues to rise in Sweden due to the complicated situation in the European market. The Ukraine war, high production costs, and inflation are the primary drivers of increasing Swedish flour prices at the moment. The latest spot price for bakery wheat is at USD 592/MT for W41, and there is an indication that prices in the market can go up to USD 610/MT in 2023 if the market situation does not improve or change.
