The insufficient production of white shrimp in Taiwan

Although Taiwan produces an ample amount of farmed white shrimp, production is insufficient to meet the domestic demand. Thus, they are looking for shrimp from over seas such as Thailand and Vietnam. These countries have their own packaging and freezing infrastructures to meet requirements, while Indonesia has no much confidence in their ability to freeze and pack the goods.
