Rice export in Nghe An province increased significantly in 2020 thanks to EVFTA

At this time, despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 epidemic as well as many challenges from natural disasters such as drought, storms, and floods, the rice export situation in Nghe An still achieved a high growth rate compared to the same period last year. According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An province, rice export in the first nine-month of 2020 reached 9.6 million USD, which is four times higher than the previous year. The reason for the spectacular breakthrough in rice exports of Nghe An province is thanks to the EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
