MAFI indicated that the Smart SBB program implemented in Selangor in the first and second seasons of 2021 has proven to increase state production of rice. The average second season rice harvest increased by 32%, or an average of 3.5 to 6.4 MT per hectare, benefiting 170 rice farmers. In the second quarter of 2021, the paddy field with an area of 316.2 hectares successfully increased production by 285% to 2,357 MT under Smart SBB program.
