Tight global sunflower seed supply

Due to the war between Ukraine and Russia, the supply of oil-purpose sunflower seed is tight and the local inventory has declined. At the same time, demand from the end-users also declined, which is keeping the market stable. The price for oil-purpose sunflower seed is USD 1163.15/mt, the price range for snack sunflower seed is USD 1271.71-1318.24/mt, and the price for sunflower kernels is USD 1519.85/mt. Prices will remain stable in the near future, with large stock releases (mainly from the traders) alleviating the pressure on prices caused by the tight supply.
