The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has announced that it will be purchasing dried apricots at USD 3 per kg for natural dried (unsulphured) apricots and at USD 2.75 per kg for sulphured dried apricots.

The harvest estimation for apricot is 382 KMT and 85 KMT for dried apricot which is considerably lower compared to last year's production output, which In 2019, Turkey has exported 100 KMT of dried apricots.

Due to lower production estimation, prices are expected to increase but for the same reason, TMO is not expected to not see large volume purchases.
