Turkey mainly imports crude sunflower oil from Ukraine but considering Bulgarian production as well

Turkish sunflower oil producers import crude oil mainly from Ukraine for the reason of more favorable prices. However, with increasing global prices, freight rates, and increasing FOB prices in Ukraine, more and more Turkish companies have started considering Bulgaria both for sunflower seed and crude oil imports. One of the reasons is that the price differences between Bulgaria and Ukraine are not too different.
