Turkey has officially announced the removal of the paddy tax on imports. Accordingly, within the scope of the developments in paddy production in Turkey and around the world, customs duties on paddy, brown rice, and rice imports at rates of 34%, 36%, and 45%, respectively, were reduced to 0% until August 31, 2023, in order to ensure domestic supply security and price stability.
