Turkey's citrus fruit exports to Italy have quintupled in export value in the first 9 months of 2020. Turkey has exported 728 kmt of citrus fruits so far in 2020 and generated an export revenue of 374 million USD.
The market demand for citrus fruits has increased in Italy due to its Vitamin C content which boosts the immune system of consumers and used extensively in the light of the Covid19 outbreak.
