Turkish Agricultural Exports Accounted For 15.2% Of Total Exports Earning USD 3.33 Billion in November 2022

The Turkish agricultural sector recorded the highest monthly export of all time in November worth USD 3.33 billion. According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), agricultural exports accounted for 15.2% of total exports in November where 6 out of 10 agricultural sub sectors recorded increases. In this period, the exports of the olive and olive oil sector reach a record high and increased 109.1% while the tobacco sector increased 31.1%, fruit and vegetable products 21%, cereals, pulses, oil seeds and products 20.3%. Aquaculture and animal product exports increased 10.9%, and furniture, paper and forest products 10.1%. Export of fresh fruit and vegetables decreased 2.8%, dried fruits and products 3.9%, ornamental plants and products 5.1%, and hazelnuts and products decreased 19.1%.
