Turkish Dried Fruit Export Aims One Billion Dollars Thanks to Dried Apricot, Dried Fig and Raisin

According to Aegean Exporters' Associations declaration, in the remaining part of the 2021-22 season, Turkey exported USD 835 million of dried apricots, raisins, and dried figs with an increase of 10%. The dried fruit sector aims to bring in over USD 1 billion of foreign currency to Turkey at the end of the season in 3 products. Dried apricot exports increased by 30% from USD 246.8 million to USD 321.7 million and ranked first. Seedless raisin exports increased by 1%, progressing from USD 309.6 million to USD 312 million. Dried figs export has been USD 201 million.
