Stable Prices for Bonito, Anchovies, and More as Turkish Seafood Season Begins

The lifting of the fishing ban in the Turkish seas on September 1 marked the beginning of the season without an excessive supply. In W38, Bonito was sold for USD 2.94 per kilogram (kg) each. Key seafood prices in the early season included anchovies and horse mackerel, priced at USD 3.68/kg. Additionally, sea bream was available at USD 7.35/kg, and sea bass was priced at USD 8.09/kg. These prices were stable at the initial stage of the season and were expected to change as the season progressed.
