In the first 11 months of 2022, the grain sector in Turkey realised an export value of USD 10.3 billion with an increase of 26.5% compared to the same period in the previous year. Turkey is expected to close 2022 with a record value of close to USD 12 billion. Exports during the first 11 months from the Southeastern Anatolia region, which exports the most grains and pulses of Turkey, amounted to USD 3.2 billion with an increase of 23% compared to the same period of 2021. The Turkish grain sector has an export target of around USD 13.7 billion in 2023.
