Hazelnut Exports Surge by 25% YoY in 2023, Reaching USD 572 Million

The Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters Association noted a notable surge in Turkish hazelnut prices during the 2023 season. Between September 1 and November 30, hazelnut exports amounted to USD 572.88 million for 83,650 metric tons (mt), signifying a significant 25% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to the same period in the previous season, where 95,474 mt were exported for USD 536.34 million. This indicates a substantial price rise in the Turkish hazelnut market for 2023.
