Export Value for Ugandan Coffee Reached USD 67.35M in January

Uganda exported 494,226 60kg bags of coffee valued at USD 67.35M in January 2023. This comprised 412,282 bags of Robusta valued at USD 49.57M and 81,944 bags of Arabica coffee valued at USD 17.78M. This represents an increase of 23% in volumes and 9% in value compared to January 2022. The average Robusta price was USD 2.00/kg in January, USD 0.04 lower than the previous month. Screens 18,15 and 14 fair trade fetched the highest price of USD 2.23/kg.
