Blueberries in Ukraine are trading at USD 4.10-5.73/kg in week 29 of 2022 which is on average 45% lower compared to last year. According to growers, several factors are contributing to the decrease in price. The supply of blueberries in the Ukrainian market is high in 2022 due to an increase in production from high yields as well as new orchards coming into production. Also, growers report limited demand both in the domestic market and from exporters, since most Ukrainian producers have no opportunity to export due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
