The surge in COVID-19 cases in China led to a significant shift in the pineapple supply to the Middle East/Iran and Gulf countries in November. The market in Dubai became saturated as a result of the large influx of fresh pineapple exports into the port of Jebel Ali. Fresh Pineapples - Laydown With Crown size 7/8/9c are still quite expensive in the Philippines, with FOB prices ranging from USD 4.30-14.80/12kg pack in W48. This is a chance for several Gulf manufacturers that prepare pineapples for Fresh Cut and Juice.
