US blueberry packers have been seeing increased interest and sales to the Indian market in recent years. The market is relatively new to California's growers and prices have been an issue, but there is a growing demand among the country's middle class. Another small hurdle for Indian buyers when purchasing US blueberries is the requirement of an import license for the product.
