US citrus imports were up significantly through the summer of 2020 compared to 2019, according to recently released USDA data. Imports were up 20%, equivalent to $628 million, from June through September. Latin America accounted for the majority of the increase with Chile, Peru, and Uruguay all seeing large volumes shipped to the US. Mandarins saw a 55% increase, and limes and orange each grew by 10%.
