US in-shell almond prices rise on strong demand from China and India

In-shell almond prices have risen over 10 cents/pound in the US on tightening supply and strong demand from China and India. In the 2020-21 crop year in-shell sales to China/Hong Kong are over 63 million pounds with an increase of 141%, compared to February 2020. For India, in-shell crop year sales are nearly 261 million pounds in February 2021, an increase of 51% compared to February 2020.
