Due to oversupply of Tahitian lemons in Thailand and wholesale price reduction (USD 1.2 per kg), lemon slices have higher market value for exports than frozen products. Currently, customer base for Tahitian lemon in Thailand consists mainly of Japanese market, and the products are mostly used for beverages. The retail price is USD 3.432 per kg FOB and the products are expected to be available whole year.
