Watermelon prices are going down, according to growers this is because some important areas from Sonora and Sinaloa keep sending products to Nogales Arizona, and McAllen Texas, today the 700/lb bin has a price between USD 230 and 250 depending on sizes and qualities.
Growers had a similar experience in these prices behaviors when production was starting in these areas last season. The market is now showing more stable demand signals.
