Wheat milling by region in Argentina

For the 2019/2020 campaign, the mills located in the Pampean region accounted for 95% of the wheat processing.

In a province-by-province breakdown, 56% of the milling was carried out in mills located in the Province of Buenos Aires. The provinces of Córdoba and Santa Fe together accounted for 39% of the industrialization in the last business year.

Wheat milling in the 2019/2020 campaign was strongly correlated with wheat production locations. In the said campaign, wheat production was distributed 50% in the province of Buenos Aires, 17% in Córdoba, 17% in Santa Fe, and 8% in Entre Ríos. However, unlike production, the share of wheat milling by the province has remained relatively stable over time, being practically unchanged in the last 20 years.
