White Bean Prices in Egypt Surged by 20% YoY in May-24 Due to Strong Demand and New Harvest

On May-24, white bean prices in Egypt increased by 20% year-over-year (YoY) to USD 2,515.58 per ton (EGP 120,000/ton), compared to USD 2,096.28/ton (EGP 100,000/ton) in May-23. This rise is attributed to the new season's harvest and strong demand in both local and export markets.
