Wildfires in Greece did not affect fig and pomegranate plantations

Despite the catastrophic wildfires on the island of Euboea and burning the absolute majority of the northern wild forests, the local fig and pomegranate plantations of the north of the island have not been affected. Euboea is famous for its PDO-dried figs.
