Zero Tariff for Corn and Rice Quotas in Effect in Guatemala

The Guatemalan government published agreements to release the tariff quotas for white corn and rice in order to address the food inflation. The agreements published in early July authorizing zero tariffs on imports of 65 thousand mt of paddy rice and an additional quota of 70 thousand mt on white corn .
