Brazil and the US have exported most of their soybeans to the Chinese market since 2014. Brazil and the US appear to be competing in the global export market with narrowing value differences. However, starting in 2018, Brazil is increasingly gaining momentum to strengthen its position along with the US-China trade war without reducing its supply to other importing countries.
