The US shifts its import of frozen shrimp from Indonesia to India

The import of frozen shrimp and prawns from Indonesia to the US has continuously decreased since 2018. The US had reduced its import from Indonesia by 7.75% in 2019 while importing more from other exporters such as India, Ecuador, Mexico, and Vietnam. The total export of Indonesian frozen shrimp and prawns globally has also on a downward trend for the past 2 years.
