The Netherlands re-exports more ginger as the local demand declined

The import of ginger in the Netherlands declined in 2019. Consequently, the Netherlands importing less ginger from most of its major exporters, with import from China, has shown a total decline of 40% over the past 3 years. While the import has declined, the Netherlands has increased the amount of re-exported ginger, noting that the local demand for consumption might have reduced.
